How We Help

 

The Plan & Programs!

 

Anchored In Christ Charities is a new charity located in Harford County however; we serve the entire state of Maryland.  Our passion is to provide hope to those seeking a fresh start and introduce them to powerful, life-changing, knowledge that a relationship with our Creator provides. We partner with neighborhood agencies, community groups and government agencies to deliver solutions in Harford County.  Anchored In Christ Charities offers free Counseling and Support, Transportation Assistance, Workforce Development, and Offender Services.

Those eligible to be considered for participation in Anchored In Christ Charities programs must meet the following requirements:

 

  • First preference given to residents in Aberdeen and/or Harford County.

  • Must show some level of motivation and exhibit a desire to improve his/her condition through possible employment.

  • Must be willing to comply with the program’s rules and regulations, beginning with the completion of a comprehensive needs assessment interview, health evaluation and urine screenings periodically.

  • Must be willing to sign and adhere to a customer commitment agreement.

 

In addition to the above-mentioned statements, we require applicants to provide the following if applicable:

 

  • Birth certificate, social security card or other valid identifications.

  • Letter of reference from referring agency.

  • Conditions of parole, probation or other legal stipulations.

 

We envision communities where faith-based, philanthropic, and business interests align to meet the needs in our communities. We assist our most vulnerable neighbors, as well as improve our community.
